When the 1991 nissan sentra was made was power steering already being put on all models of cars?

I just bought a 1991 nissan sentra. It doens’t have power steering and we can’t figure out where to install a pump or anything for power steering. Could it be possible it was never installed on the vehicle?

      An option on base model cars back then maybe your car really did not come with one.

      The pump uses horsepower to improve fuel economy as the metro that did come with out power steering on the metro to turn the pump if you will need more components than the sentra you are looking to turn the sentra you will need more components than the metro to.

      it probably came without power steering and would cost quite a bit to install it now because some cars are very light they are offered without power steering
