What should I do to my Nissan Altima for performance?

I drive an ‘05 Nissan Altima and I would like to get a little more power out of it. Any suggestions under $1000 would be appreciated :) I am into racing and I am only a half second short of a GT Mustang in the quarter mile.

      you shouldnt be racing your altima, they make those cars to where it is hard to get mods on it =/
