How much to replace a Nissan 300z engine?

I’m in the market for a car purchase and I’ve got my sights set on the Nissan 300z. Unfortunately, most of the cars I’m looking at have 150,000 miles or more and, in the case of the one I’d probably buy, over 200,000. I figure that the car won’t last too much longer on an engine with that many miles, so how much would it cost to replace the engine? Does it have to be a 300 engine or can some other make and/or model engine be substituted? It’s a 1994, if that matters. Thanks.
