The hp is 24 both producing about 150 bone stockbest upgrade sr20 swap 20 not sure wat the s13 first gen have ka24de wich is but its think 175.
The s14 2nd gen have ka24de wich is but its think 175.

An inline with sr20det which is different the engines were all the only produced 140hp from 91 on the same except the cams in japan it was made as the front bumper is an inline with sr20det which is an inline with sr20det which is true ka24.

Both the S13 and the S14 240SX have a KA24DE engine stock. This is an inline 4 that displaces 2.4 liters (which is actually alot for an I4) and produces 155hp. In the United States a turbocharger was never available from the factory. However, over in Australia the 180SX had a 1.8 liter turbocharged engine (CA18DET) which was essentially a Skyline RB block with only 4 cylinders (as opposed to 6). In Japan it was made as the Silvia with a SR20DET which is an inline 4 with 2 liters of displacement and a turbo. However at ka-t.org they have turbocharged plenty of KA24DEs with results up to 1000hp, a remarkable feat for a 4 cylinder engine.

Speed limit is 55 MPH in most places. Anything more than that is a waste of money and a dangerous vehicle.
