If I had a 50 gallon tank it would cost same per gallon. what ever gas cost times number of gallons it holds. You must be 16 and do not know multiplication?

The size of gas tank it up.
The size of gas is when you go to fill it has and how much gas is when you go to fill it up.

Ok at $2 a gallon a 2000 to 2004 pathfinder has a 20.7 gallon tank SO around 40 dollars with 1 gallon left reserve. Just remember that bigger heavy SUV that is not areodynamic will not get as good fuel economy. But it will be more rugged able to tow a trailer and much more cargo room.
