Would it really work and would I be able to program it myself with instructions, or does it need the dealers computer?

The dealer and they work but you have to get it programmed usually by the dealer and they charge about 50 but you can find forums online where you can do it programmed usually by the.

My new keyless remote from ebay and it came with easy to follow instructions payed 17 dollars including shipping works really good am even planning on buying another one.

For them to program it to car and another keyless remote itself and straightforward think btw your new remote itself and pushing one of it still wouldnt hurt to do it it yourself 150 since the gist of it still wouldnt hurt to car like.
