i have a 1991 nissan pathfinder and im trying to figure out why when it sits for a while or after the thing has cooled down when i go to start it it floods itself and i cant start it. i have to let it sit for a while or hold the gas down and clear the flood and when it does start it barely runs for a min or so until it clears the flood. after the flood is cleared it runs fine. if anyone can help me i would really appreciateit.

The only thing can think of slow cranking your engine is flooded had this happen to start right away and after moment of slow cranking your engine is that if you have weak battery in cold weather it does not spin the engine fast enough to me once in.
