1992 Nissan truck 4×4 the gas and temperature gauges reads wrong?

Everytimes i turn the car on both gauges goes to the max. the the Temperature meter goes all the way to HOT ( i just turn the engine on). and the gas meter goes full and when meter shows almost half tank then the tank is almost empty.
CAN ANYBODY PLEASE HELP ??? whats wrong here???

      Both units either need replacing or you have a bare wire touching ground some where.
